Our Metal Options

At Sea Shur Jewelry, we exclusively use precious metals certified as 100% recycled by SCS. These recycled metals go through a careful refining process to ensure they're of the same high quality as newly mined gold and silver. Choosing recycled metals means you're getting beautifully crafted jewelry that's both environmentally responsible and exceptional in quality.

Sterling Silver

Our two silver options are both crafted from .925 Sterling Silver. The polished silver has a lustrous, mirror-like surface due to an extensive polishing process. This option may have slightly less detail and, like other precious metals, the polished surface is delicate and susceptible to scratches as part of normal wear.

Handling and Care: To ensure the longevity of your jewelry, store it in the soft cloth pouch provided with your purchase, separate from other items. Avoid exposure to household chemicals during cleaning, as they can damage the finish. Use a rouge polishing cloth to maintain a glossy surface.

The non-polished option can be polished at a later time if you so choose.

Sterling silver does tarnish with time and will require occasional cleaning. Silver cleaner will help with tarnish deep in the detail however for the flat surfaces we recommend using a rouge polishing cloth.

Solid Gold

All our gold products undergo a meticulous hand-polishing process, resulting in a smooth, gleaming finish. 14k Gold exhibits a subtle, warm hue, while 18k Gold shines with a brighter and more vivid color. 14k Rose Gold displays a delicate pinkish tint, and 14k White Gold resembles silver with a touch of gold.

Handling and Care: Gold can be maintained using most non-abrasive cleaners. Avoid exposure to household bleach, which may lead to corrosion and discoloration.

Please note that the black appearance on some pendants in the photographs is due to the reflective, mirror-like surface and lighting conditions.

A Note on Gold Color Matching

At Sea Shur, our pendants are designed and produced in-house while our chains are sourced from trusted suppliers. Because gold is an alloy, exact color tone can vary between manufacturers depending on their specific alloy composition. For example, a higher copper content produces a richer yellow hue, while more silver results in a paler shade.

Our pendants are generally consistent in color, though occasionally slight variation can occur due to differences in the gold grain used during production. When pairing a pendant with one of our chains, some color variation is normal and expected. Both pieces may be genuine 14k gold while still displaying subtle differences in tone.

This is a natural characteristic of gold alloys and is not a defect. For this reason, we cannot guarantee an exact color match between our pendants and the chains we source.
